Chef Greg will also share recipes for great accompaniments to your bird. Menu to include Roasted Turkey, Chestnut Stuffing with Perfect Pan Gravy, Sweet Potato Streusel and Cranberry Sorbet. This class is great for first time hosts/hostesses and Thanksgiving veterans alike.

Tamale Workshop

Holiday Puff Pastry & Phyllo

Puff Pastry and Phyllo dough can be the most difficult to work with. Let us ease your fears! Chef Pete Pica will share great holiday recipes using these two pastry doughs, and will share tons of tips and tricks along the way. Menu to include Apple Strudel in Puff Pastry, Mediterranean Chicken en Croute, Seafood & Mushroom Vol au Vent, and Broccoli & Cheddar Purses. Chef Pete will also cover basic puff pastry shaping techniques.

Intro to Indian

Join Chef George Albiez for an evening devoted to Indian food. Chef George will share dishes that are rooted in India’s age-old culinary traditions yet adapted to today’s kitchen and lifestyle. Menu to include Na’an Bread, Masoor Daal Lentils, Tandoori Prawns, Chicken Masala, and Curried Lamb with Saffron.

Cake Decorating Series

Join Chef Tim Carrigan of Fernwood Nature Preserve for a great hands-on experience! This class is a three-part series that will break down various decorating techniques and show you how fun and easy cake decorating can be! Week 1 will include basic techniques, from icing prep and simple borders to roses. Week 2 will cover more borders and flowers. Learn five different flowers, including pansies, mums and daisies. Also, learn basket weave. Our series will conclude with Week 3 covering beginning fondant work. Cost of class includes a Wilton Cake Decorating Kit for Beginners, along with a finished cake to take home each week. Class limited to 12, so sign up early!

Amish Comfort

Meat and starch: the foundations of Amish cookery! Join Chef Greg Beachey as we pay homage to our Amish neighbors. Raised in the Mennonite community, Chef Greg is no stranger to down-home delights from Amish country. He’ll be preparing Poor Man’s Steak, Mashed Potatoes with Pan Gravy, Fried Mush with Sausage Gravy, and Divinity.
