Truffle Workshop

Join Chef Greg Beachey for a hands-on experience creating decadent chocolate truffles. Not only will Chef Greg cover basics such as how to temper chocolate, preparing ganache, and different truffle techniques, but you’ll get to create your own varieties like Classic Chocolate, Chocolate Kahlua, Earl Grey, Coconut Lime, Scotch, and White Chocolate Orange Truffles. Make them in our kitchen and enjoy them in yours!

Dining with Diabetes Series

This four-part educational program in cooperation with Purdue Extension is open to anyone with diabetes and their family members or caregivers. Classes will include information and demonstrations from Consumer & Family Sciences Educator Edie Sutton on how to prepare meals that are healthy and use less fat, salt and sugar without cutting taste. There will be an opportunity to taste a variety of entrees, side dishes and desserts. Recipes will be presented that taste great and also fit into your diabetic diet. All net proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association.

Filled Pasta Workshop

Join Chef Greg Beachey for a night of all things pasta! You’ll work together to prepare three different kinds of pasta shapes to enjoy at home or during class. Join Chef Eileen Quinn for a delectable evening full of Hungarian classics. Chef Eileen learned from her grandmother how to cook favorites like Csirkepaprikás (Chicken Paprikash), Töltött káposzta (Cabbage Rolls), Rakott Krumpli (Potato Sausage Casserole), and Palacsinta (Hungarian Sweet Crepes). If you love Hungarian food but would rather have someone else make it for you, don’t miss this class!
