Martin’s Advantage Points FAQ:

Will my Advantage Points expire?

Points will only expire 30 days after the last use of your Martin’s Advantage Card in store. As long as you shop at least once every 30 days your points will not expire.

How many Advantage Points can I earn?

There is no limit! You can earn Advantage Points every time you shop and use your Martin’s Advantage Card. Watch your Advantage Points balance grow and eventually get FREE GAS.*

How do I calculate the value of my Advantage Points?

For every 300 Advantage Points you accumulate, you earn a one-cent-per-gallon discount. But don’t worry, we’ll do the math for you! Check your last Advantage Points receipt or scan your card at the pump to see how many cents off per gallon you’ve earned.

How many gallons of gas is my Advantage Points discount good for?

Your discount is valid for up to 15 gallons in a single transaction.

What purchases are not included in the Advantage Points program?

You will not earn points for Gift Cards, Money Orders, Lottery Tickets, Postage Stamps, Money Transfers and Pharmacy purchases.

What happens when the gas pump reaches 15 gallons?

If you choose to use your Advantage Points, the pump will discount the price per gallon and automatically shut off when it reaches 15 gallons. If you would like to get more fuel, you will need to start a new transaction.

What if your Martin’s Card will not scan at the pump (barcode is damaged)?

Martin’s Fuel Centers are unable to issue a fuel discount from the fuel center kiosk. Your card must be scanned at the pump. If your card does not scan, we ask that you get a new Advantage Card. When you receive a new Advantage card, your Advantage Points will automatically be transferred from your old card to your new card within 24 hours.

Can cards be linked together for the Advantage Points program?

No. Cards cannot be linked together for the Advantage Points program. If you and your spouse have two different card numbers you will earn points individually, based on the actual cards used in the grocery store. If you would like to earn points together, you may reapply for a joint card.

You have more than enough points to get free gas*. What happens?

If you have enough Advantage Points to get your gas for free, the pump will calculate how many points are needed and this will be the number displayed on the pump screen after you scan your Advantage Card. If you select yes, that number of points will be deducted from your total. Any additional points will remain on your card and can be applied to your next fuel purchase.

*Martin’s fuel centers are only able to discount gasoline to 9/10 of a cent per gallon ($0.009).
